A Message from Council Member Gary Petershagen
Dear Friends and Supporters,I would like to formally announce that I am running for re-election this November and would very much appreciate your support. It has been my honor to serve the Citizens of the City of Lake Stevens these past 8 years. We have seen a tremendous amount of change since 2016, when I was appointed to the City Council. With two successful re-election campaigns in 2017 and 2021, I feel that I have kept my pledge to you. During this time, I have: 1) supported and been a vocal advocate for our law enforcement, 2) advocated and supported improvements to our recreational facilities and 3) continued to support improvements to our roads and pedestrian facilities. This, while fostering reasonable and pragmatic solutions. As we move forward in these next four years, I will continue to work for a safe community, safe conditions for our local roadways, expansion of our recreational opportunities, as well as continuing to work to help solve the issues surrounding the trestle and its associated roadways. My overarching goal is to continue to keep our community one of the safest in the state and to continue to encourage an environment that our citizens can be proud of.
There is no doubt there will be many more issues that come up in the next 4 years. My pledge again is to offer to the voters one that will listen, empathize and make justifiable sound decisions. Again, I would be honored to have your vote this November. By supporting our campaign with endorsements, signage or through a donation, your support is greatly appreciated. Please visit my campaign website for more information or, using your mobile device, click on the link to donate directly.Sincerely,Gary Petershagen
